Glyfada was designed and completed in 1963, in 1977 the course hosted the World Cup of Golf. Glyfada is currently hosting the Greek Seniors tour event during the month of October with players such as Ballesteros, B. Gallagher, Tommy Horton and Denis O'Sullivan.
